File > Set Reference Database
To define a reference database. Usually it is your biggest database with the best annotations (e.g. Mega Database or Compositions). This database is used when searching for novelties and positions. This database is used in the Reference Window when searching for the position on the board. This database is used to provide assistance when saving games (see for example Help Players). The reference database can be the same as the opened database.
