Search > Highlight Known Positions

 

Find all positions of the game in the reference database. In the Notation Window the positions found are highlighted. Choose Clear Highlights if you wish to clear the highlights again.

 

If the game in the Game Window is from the reference database the game is skipped during the search so that only positions are highlighted that occur in other games.

If the game in the Game Window is not from the reference database, and after the search all positions are highlighted, then most likely the game is also in the reference database. You can verify this in the Reference Window. If this is the case, double-click the game in the Reference Window to load it in the Game Window and choose Highlight Known Positions again. This time the program knows which game to skip and only positions are highlighted that occur in other games.
